Integrity is your internal compass that ensures your actions align with truth, especially in the quiet moments when no one is watching. It is about choosing the harder right over the easier wrong and refusing to rationalize compromises
Thinking “no one will know” is like damp in the foundation of your life. It creates nighttime baggage of not sleeping and daytime baggage of trying keeping your false stories straight.
When people see that you choose the greater good over convenience, it builds trust. Your consistency acts as a light for your team and it gives them the courage to operate at that level too.
Practice this
Are you doing the right thing?
Step 1: Catch the Rationalization
When you are tempted to cut a corner, hide a mistake, or bend the truth to save face, recognize that this is a compromise.
Step 2: Choose the Harder Right
When faced with the choice between comfort and truth, actively choose the harder right. Even if it’s uncomfortable and costs you your pride in that moment.
Step 3: Practice Transparency
Own it immediately: speak the truth, apologize without deflection, and correct your course without delay.
